Stage 4 is the first of three days in the East of England, the stage will be 117km in length with two opportunities for mid-stage sprint points and one QOM line.
By basing yourself in Southend-on-Sea, you will be able to watch the start and finish of this stage.
Here is the detailed, interactive map .
There are several car parks in Southend-on-Sea itself, but if you fancy going to watch the race from the more rural roads, then here are some little gems I’ve found for you.
Sprint 1:
The first sprint of the day will take place a little before the B1010/B1021 junction. There are plenty of small roads to find somewhere to park and then you’re just a stone throw away from the sprint.

Sprint 2
The second sprint will take place along the fairly straight and open B1418. There is some parking outside these houses to the left.

QOM
The penultimate key feature of this stage is the QOM, which comes with around 12km/8mi left. If there’s a breakaway, you’ll see them trying to stay away from the peloton and take QOM points on the way.
There’s a network of smaller roads off from B1013, where the sprint will be. But better than that is the Fairview Car Park, which appears to be free!

Disclaimer: When finding somewhere to stand or park, please exercise common sense. These are suggestions and there may be regulations in place that we are not aware of at this moment in time.
